While the CrankTank will fit on almost any triangular hard tail frame, the CrankTank Frame Adapter can improve the fit with more exotic shaped or extra large down and seat tubes, as well as protect your frame from potential rub between the CrankTank and the frame. We in particular recommend considering a CrankTank Frame Adapter for carbon fiber frames.
The CrankTank Frame Adapter mounts directly to the bottle cage threads and is designed to ensure compatibility with a variety of frames and thread positions.
